Often seen in the casinos of Las Vegas but rarely in Ireland is the casino game of Caribbean Stud Poker but it is widely available at online casinos and is a great online casino game with a good chance of winning. Although Caribbean Stud is a poker game using the normal 5 cards and hand sequence it is played against the house rather than against other players which can be an advantage if you are not good at bluffing or do not like the idea of being bullied by a larger bankroll. In Caribbean stud there are only two hands dealt and if your hand beats the dealers hand, you win simple as that. To start a game of Caribbean stud you will need to place an ante bet within the table upper and lower limits after which 5 cards will be dealt to you and the dealer but only one of the dealers cards will be face up. Based on what you can see you must decide whether your Caribbean stud poker hand is better than the dealers hand or not. If you think not then you fold your hand and lose your ante bet but if you think you have the dealer beaten you can place an additional bet which is equal to your ante bet and the cards will be turned over. In Caribbean Stud there is a requirement for the dealer to have a qualifying hand in order to play which is generally an Ace/King or better; if the Caribbean Stud dealer does not have a qualifying hand then your ante bet is paid at even money and your additional bet is returned but if the dealers hand does qualify then you either win or lose. A winning hand at Caribbean Stud poker can also pay out at greater odds than even money and there is also the chance to play for the jackpot. Caribbean Stud really is easy to play and can be great fun.
