Craps is one of those great dice games that has been around for years and years and although there are two different versions of craps namely street craps and casino craps we shall focus on casino craps which is the game you will play in online casinos. To play craps is all about betting on the result of two dice and the simplest bets are the pass line bet and the don’t pass line but we shall today focus on the next level of betting which takes place after the point has been formed and if you do not know what that is we would refer you to our craps page here at casinos.ie. Once the point is set then of course your pass line bet and your don’t pass line bets are still valid but now there is another opportunity to make a come bet or a don’t come bet; in actual fact the don’t come bet can be made at any time. A come bet when playing craps wins outright if the next throw of the dice is a 2 or a 3 and loses if the next throw is a 7 or 11 and if 12 is thrown it is a push. The don’t come bet is the exact reverse, losing on a 2 or a 3 and winning on a 7 or an 11 with a 12 still being a push. If the next throw is anything else (4,5,6,8,9,10) then the bet moves to that number on the board and throwing of the dice continues until either that number is thrown again or a 7 is thrown which can take a number of throws and is part of what makes craps so exciting. A come bet will win at even money if the number thrown is repeated before a 7 is thrown and the don’t come bet will win if a 7 is thrown first. These bets will add more enjoyment to your craps..
